Roosin adhesive medical Foam Dressing is a two layer dressing indicated for moderate to heavily exuding wounds. Each layer of the adhesive medical foam dressing contributes to the performance of the dressing.Adhesive Foam Dressing

The dressing comprises of a polyurethane absorbent foam pad and a polyurethane membrane. The core of the dressing is a layer of absorbent polyurethane foam which absorbs wound exudate vertically into the dressing. The absorbent pad retains the exudate within the dressing preventing the exudate from re-entering the wound and preventing maceration to the peri wound and surrounding skin. The polyurethane membrane provides an effective barrier function and is waterproof whilst allowing the transpiration of exudate which aids the total fluid handling capacity of the dressing.

Instructions for use

• Carefully clean the wound and its surroundng area with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently.
• Open the package and remove the dressing. Make sure the medical PU film backing is facing away from the skin and the foam is facing the side of the wound or skin. Use a secondary dressing or bandage to secure the foam dressing in place.Optifoam Dressing
• The frequency of dressing replacement depends on the type of wound, amount of exudate and clinical condition, or on the treatment procedure. However, it is recommended that you replace the dressings every 24hrs or earlier if wound exudates are seeping to the edge of the Adhesive Foam Wound Dressing.
• To remove the dressing, use tweezers or a gloved hand to gently peel off the dressing away from the wound.
