Silver Alginate Dressing Gray Color is a type of wound dressing that is composed of a combination of sodium and calcium alginate fibers and silver ions. This type of dressing is used to treat wounds that are infected or at risk of infection. Instructions for use

• Carefully clean the wound and its surrounding area with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently.
• Select the right size of dressing for the wound area. Carefully open the sterile pouch to remove the dressing inside.
• A secondary dressing is necessary when using calcium alginates. If needed, cut the tape and dressing using sterile scissors. 
• Dampen dressing with sterile water or saline solution to avoid damaging the surrounding skin, then secure it to the wound area.
